Cobra, would it possible for us [CobraCards.com/community] members to have more than one board style to surf this [awesome] site with?

I personally think a darker and/or bolder setup would be ideal for these forums. Colors that aren’t all light grey, white, and a little light-red over-running the forums all the time. Give us some kick-butt atmospheres here, make coming to Cobracards a visual experience.

Discuss.

To have something kind alien like or sci-fi would be awesum.

First off, Cobra wouldn’t have to make them. He’d have to adjust them depending on how much he’s tweaked the boards from basic phpBB layouts. But I assume [as pretty much all forum hosts] that phpBB.com would have more that he could just download and we’d have a little dropdown box that we could switch between the styles. The current style of course would stay there for all you guys who can’t stand change.

I’m just saying, I personally like to mix it up once in a while.

Correct -- I wouldn’t have to create new templates/skins from scratch, but would have to adjust them to suit the modifications I’ve made to these forums. And there have been a LOT of modifications.... Wink

However, it should be possible to allow for some different color options. You’d always see the same layout, images, etc. for these forums, but could choose between several color schemes. Shall I look into this? Cool

Hmm... This sounds like another good thing to add to the Forum Shops to spend GP on.
