Hehe. Because my resources are so high, I leapfrogged SoP! It doesn’t look like he was particularly active over the weekend though, so that could also contribute.
In other news, I exited Newb protection from a guy in my solar system... I guess I should start getting my defenses up. After this morning, I should be able to build missile turrets and Light Lasers. My first colony will have to wait for a bit while I make sure I can’t be destroyed by a small marauding force... |

I am unsure how Solar Satellites work.
I would recommend building fusion reactors. They use deut. for fuel but are cheaper then building satellites i think.
Here is a good defense ratio. I got it from http://www.ogametips.com/25/building-defenses
* Build Rocket Launchers as your fodder.
* Build 1 Light Laser for every 5 Rocket Launchers.
* Build 1 Heavy Laser for every 20 Rocket Launchers.
* Build 1 Ion Cannon for every 60 Rocket Launchers.
* Build 1 Gauss Cannon for every 150 Rocket Launchers.
* Build 1 Plasma Turret for every 500 Rocket Launchers.
* Build 1 Small Shield Dome when you reach 100 Rocket Launchers
* Build 1 Large Shield Dome when you reach 500 Rocket Launchers
# That means when you acquire 500 Rocket Launchers, you should have:
* 100 Light Lasers
* 25 Heavy Lasers
* 8 Ion Cannons
* 3 Gauss Cannons
* 1 Plasma Turret
* 1 Small Shield Dome
* 1 Large Shield Dome |

i wasn’t, we had a friend over yesterday, and our internet was down so I wasn’t on for about 24 hours. |

I am working on getting my shipyard upgraded, then i will focus on Metal and Crystal some more. |

Yeah, I know that formula. It is just hard to see that to build that Solar Plant Level 13 with two robotics factories is going to take close to three hours. Once you get past the first two or three levels there is a law of very diminishing returns on putting more into the Robotics factory unless you are aiming for the Nanite factory.
I’ll get there eventually, but right now it is an hour or more of materials to upgrade the factory, so I’d prefer to focus on building my resource generation. |

| i built a solar satelite and it gave me like +22 energy. and i have a level 2 fusion reactor thing. my Deut. isn’t up very high though. i need to pump that up to support the reactor. still trying to get that impulse drive. |
