I HATE anything of the parasite kind that gets on your skin and sucks blood. Mosquitos, ticks, etc. etc. I used to live in florida 12 years ago...so I had quite the experience with critters of all sorts...cockroaches...bees...fire ants....and ticks...mosquitos...yuck.
NB: Not unlike you, that I hate spiders also. I just kill them whenever I can.
However, I’m not terrified of snakes, even after seeing Indiana Jones and the lost Ark movie.
But my mom? That’s a different story... |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

I remember a few years a few years back... Dad had gotten out his grandfather’s surveying equipment and I was watching him survey an area.
The spot we were on was about ten feet from where our dog’s doghouse used to be. Dad I were out there for about an hour before he noticed a tick crawl across his leg. And then I saw there was one on me. Five minutes later I had pulled roughly thirty ticks off my pants, shirt, and hair. I raced inside, pulled my clothes off and took a shower. It’s hard to enjoy nature when you’re crawling with it’s wee beasties. |

| I’m not fond of bugs. But I’m not afraid of them. Except for mosquitoes and ticks and such. Those things are a nuisance and I hate ’em. |

Has anyone ever had a centipede bite? Centipedes are by far my least favorite insect. They are really fast, and pretty aggressive for being bugs.
Last summer I didn’t put on bug spray all year to see what would happen, and I got about at least 2-3 Bites a day, or at least it seemed like it. I still have scars from then. |

Bleeeeeech. Spiders. *shudders uncontrollably*
I had a couple tramatic experiences with both spiders and bees when I was young, so I’m not real fond of either. And now having a dog, we’ve been waging war with ticks as well.
But I REALLY hate spiders. I would wager I’m the biggest arachnophobe here. You ever seen a picture of one of those nasties up close? They’re like ALIENS, man! They give me the jibblies! |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

you could start a thread of traumatic bug experiences...
I got stung by something when I was young and it hurt like a mother...but I decided it was a bee and felt better cause it died too I hate centipedes...one of BtO’s friend once put his swimming trunks on...and had an angry centipede in them...
