Over time I’ll be adding more special abilities to the forum shop. Take a look at what I’m considering now... suggestions are most welcome. 
Enhanced avatar -- larger file size
Enhanced signature -- ability to have images
Change display color of your name
Ignore user
"Pickpocket" -- steal 1 GP from any other user, once every 24 hrs.
Keyboard shortcuts -- quick navigation around the site
Double voting -- vote twice in all polls
(this one would be ridiculously expensive ) |

If we’re going to have something like "Pickpocket", then I suggest something like "Gotcha!" - Be able to see who stole GP from you, and how much, so if you want to, you can simply steal it back, or you can start a whole stealing spree cycle! 
Also, ’bout the Avatars idea, people could also purchase having more than one avatar (for instance, up to 4 10 kb pics). Did I post the idea of having animated avatars, as well?
GP could be also used to buy, let’s say, "privilege spots" on a pre-order, in case 2 or more people post an order ON THE SAME DAY and there’s not enough material available to both of them... Just a thought, though...
Also, hints on the Riddle Game could be bought. For instance, from level 1-10, it would cost 1 gp to access each Hint Thread. From level 11-20, it would cost 2, and so on. I mean, hints should be bought, not given away for free... Unless there are a lot of users who ONLY play the Riddle Game, since this would encourage spamming for gps (like, posting a netdeck at the deck clinic, or something)...
Also, this is more like a "combo" suggestion tomake the TCG’s communities grow. Cobra Cards should have a Download Area, where we could download things like SDA (rather than letting it "loose" ina thread), Apprentice, patches for both those programs, Spoilers (it REALLY helps to assemble decks, since you can use the ctrl+F shortcut to find just the card you need, by its ability), Comprehensive Rulebooks, etc... And these downloads should be payed with gp. "But people can simply read the Rulebooks/Spoilers outside the site". Yes, of course, but purchasing the Rulebooks should be a requisite for purchasing a spoiler, and this should be a pre-requisite for purchasing that edition’s patch on Apprentice. I know, we can still get all this stuff outside the site, but it would be just more funways of spending gp. Also, if you dislike the gp idea on this one, at least consider creating the Download Area, so users wouldn’t need to browse anything but Cobra Cards to find what they’re looking for!  |

Oh, and at ridiculously high prices, too, users could purchase tools for building up gp faster (which would be a double-edged knife, since it would mean not buying ANYTHING for quite some time, before being able to acquiregp faster). For instance: the first upgrade could reduce gp gain to 1 for each 400 characters, then 300, and so on, to a minimum of 100 (keeping in mind that EACH of these upgrades should cost A LOT, and the next one EVEN MORE, since the user would be getting gp faster), or maybe reducing from 500 to 450, 400 and so on, so it would be EVEN MORE expensive... But it would still be pretty sweet to know that t COULD be possible to, someday, earn gp for each 100 words typed in... Could encourage new writers, at least for a while, ’till they realized it was WAY too expensive (and it should be, I can’t stress this out enough)... We could also buy altering the Post’s Window’s background color... And, if it were possible, there could be a system (also bought) where we could activatea checkbox when creating a New Topic in any area, so we could see who accessed it, rather than just seeing who posted a reply (and purchasing "invisibility" from this system could also be a treat)...
Oh, and Deleting OUR OWN posts (only Replies, though, deleting a Strategy Article’s main post would be ridiculous) could be a perk. 
Another one could be seeing some kind of mark or button on every edited post, so we could know it was edited. Since this would avoid unecessary posts, like the ones that say: "edited" or "I edited it as you suggested" and so on, maybe this shouldn’t be bought, but that’s up to you, as I said, I don’t know what’s "doable" and what’s not.  |

i owuld luv the enhanced avatar and change display color I think you shouldn’t have ot pay money for keyboard shortcuts.
i don’t think pickpocket is a good idea. |

i dislike the pickpocket idea. i post pointlessly and in the case that i actually make one over 500 charachters it brings a warm feeling to my heart. Then, only to have someone steal my hard-earned gp away. But the rest are good. You may have no idea how long i searched through the randomest of sites to find an avatar small enough to fit. finally, i did. now ur tellin me i can make it bigger. I have one thing to say:  Thank you. Changing usernames, however, could be really confusing. I’d never know who anyone was anymore.... |

I found and exploited a bug (which Cobra has rendered null) and bought everything in the shop... I mean I figured I myswell get something for fixing the bug which others could use to do exactly what I did (hehe).
But when you delete/edit out text it removes money from your gold (a way to keep it so ppl don’t spam for lots of gold without reprecussion if their stuff gets deleted) and since I spent the gold I earned, it subtracted into the negative hundreds
I’m fine staying there if I get to keep my new name
EDIT: I would like +100 for the custom title though (as you guys can’t see it) but I guess I’ll keep it for punishment for exploiting the bug if i must.
EDIT2: Cobra: now whenever you edit it subtracts all gold from that post :S that doesn’t seem right either.
EDIT3: It just subtracted another one from my total for editing :S (so I’ve been losing 1 per edit) |

The edit bug is fixed.
Phaz, how much GP should your account actually have, before the bug and before the abuse? Let me know and I’ll fix that. (For now I’ll reset it to zero.)
I also changed your name back; I thought you were just playing with the shop! I’m not entirely sure the name change option is a good idea, especially for mods... But if you really want to be called Syndrome from now on, I’ll consider that option your reward for helping me close that loophole. |

I should have ~1 gp. maybe 2 if you count all this extra stuff i’ve been posting.
I was just messing around with the name change, but it IS what my current handle is (got sick of Phazanzar). So either way is fine with me. But it’s lowercase "s" if you change it back |
