I’ve just installed a modification that allows threads to be merged. First, go to the destination thread and note the topic ID number (or copy the URL). Then go to the thread that will be moved and click the new (><) icon, next to the others at the bottom of the page. Enter the topic ID (or paste the URL) into the "destination thread" field, and you’re set.
Note that it’s not possible to move individual posts in this way; you would first have to split the thread into different groups of posts, then move those groups around together.
BTW, this is what I’m currently doing in the LOTR TCG Dream Cards forum, to turn the chaos in there into something more useful. Take each author’s long thread of random DCs, split it up into its separate posts using the card title as topic title, then find posts with the same topic title and merge them. (Feel free to help... ) |
