I just got back from the Dentist today. Wonderful
Back in ’98 I was at a local Basketball game involving our [soon-to-be State-esque Team] when I ran up the bleachers [like any other kid; ignoring the steps and running up bench by bench]. I slipped on this day however and chipped [darn near broke in half] my front-left tooth. I got a glass of milk, and put the tooth in there [I guess you can save it?] and got it re-attached. Then in 2001 [Post-Y2K!] I was at a [Volleyball] Game where my sister was the [starting] Setter [who knows what they do...?] and was running [up bench-by-bench] and slipped, [fell] but didn’t chip it. A day later however it did come off, and I had to go to the [evil] dentist again. He gave me a faux tooth piece [not a crown, but not the real thing] and attached it on there again. And It’s been good since [till now]. Thats my backstory.
I went to the dentist to get my [yearly or more] checkup. It was all good, however it’s been a considerable time since I’ve got my front tooth re-attached and the line was reforming in the back [exposing nerves; ouch!]. I asked the [nurse] lady working there what they should do. She responded with "You’ll need a crown eventually [sooner than you want it] but we’d need to fill it a little bit and leave it for 5 years [weeks] or so. She took XRays and [gag!] and determined that the same tooth that I had pain I thought was from the opening [exposed nerves] was actually a rotted-dead tooth.
Now, if you know what I mean, you cringe at that. But for the rest of you guys, this is what happens when your tooth dies; Two words: "Root-Canal"
I wanted to cry.
So the lady has me set for an appointment next week [Wednesday] to get root canal done on my front tooth, and eventually [sooner that is] I’ll get a crown on it. Oh geeze, how could my day get any worse? It did.
Well, looking at your wisdom teeth, I can see that we’ll need to extract [eliminate] all [holy hell!] 4 of em. You’ll need to see an oral surgeon and we’ll get those buggers [money banks] out of there.
I wanted to punch him. But I’m a good christian boy and wouldn’t do such a thing. So now I’m made because I have to get root canal work done next wednesday and it’s genna suck. By the way, my tooth does hurt quite a bit...
That, my friends is why I hate the dentist. |

I also hate the dentist tOO, though my dentist is a nice man aside from the evil work he does... I had a cavity done today, and the nasty numbing taste is still there currently... GRRR.
I sympathize your utter pain. Good luck with that root canal. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

| I had to get all my dental done last december/january. turns out I have 12 cavitys (don’t know where those came from) and all 4 my wisdom teeth out. 2 months of hell. I love needles, just not in my mouth. |

I am proably going to get braces, but my orthodonist is really nice, one time, I got a free retainer because my mom gave them some cookies.
The worst I’ve had it was when I was eating a jawbreaker, and I bit it, and it broke one of my semi-molars right in half. The worst part was when I had to have the rest of that tooth taken out. |

I don’t really care about Orthodontists... because I don’t need braces! Yesss!
I was going to have a Dentist appointment this week, but my brother swapped places with me because he’s going to college this fall.
Anyways, I think I’m going to have an appointment in a month or two, but it’s far enough away that I don’t feel like worrying about it right now. |
