Echoed, he IS a true spammer, even more than sop nowadays. At least you got to have a laugh at sop's spammy posts every now and then.

Since Lurtzy's massive spamming is becoming a complete nuisance, and USF scheduled to come back on board soon...

Hmmm. I'll defer to Kralik on that. IF we do, I think we should just make all mods (or at least the majority) moderators of the CoC so it's fairly spread around.

I'm in favor of this route. And its what we had at the old CC.

It certainly wouldnt be a bad idea to have a few active mods for it. I'd have already called Lurtzy on arseing about in NBs thread, thats just plain annoying.

Alright alright alright. I concede.

So shall we do ALL moderators, or just a couple? The ones I can think of being most active in the CoC are NB, lem0n, SoP, ES, and probably Drake. That sound about right?
Best regards,
Dáin

I gotta admit some of Lurtzy's posts make me laugh, but when there's less wit and more plain spam... well, trolls like to be fed. It's not like he doesn't know what's constructive or not. For what it's worth though I think both Lurtzy and TH13 are all right; most if not all users here don't resort to flaming and personal attacks, the stuff that really causes hard feelings, and which might require... cruder methods. ;)

Some forums implement a warn feature, where each user can see a warn meter (often a row of green squares) under his avatar. Each time he's warned a square turns red. If the user is warned enough times there are restrictions like a temporary suspension of posting rights. It's softer than a full banning, which I don't think any current user ('cept USF) deserves.

Sweet! Ultimate Power!!!!

As for Lurtzy, I've said before and I say again: he's an annoyance, nothing more. Sometimes an amusing annoyance, and sometimes even a constructive annoyance. (Rare, but it does happen.)
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

Annoyances still need to be moderated.

And now he is! Jeez, what more do you guys want? :P

Seriously, though, I don't CARE about Lurtzy right now. USF's ban has been allowed to expire, so that's what REALLY concerns me at the moment.
Best regards,
Dáin

Interesting that he hasn't shown up yet. As badly as he was trying to get in while banned (rarely did a day go by that he didn't try to log in several times in a row), I'm very surprised the proverbial floodgates haven't opened yet.
