Yeah, I saw the thread you moved to the Dead Pile, and while I don't necessarily disagree with the stuff you moved, I'd caution against doing that TOO often. Don't want people to feel like they're always under someone's microscope, ya know?

Still, like I said, it doesn't hurt to clean up truly unnecessary topics every now and then. Just be smart about it, fellas. :)
Best regards,
Dáin

Yeah I wouldnt have moved it if it was still being posted on, but it was an old thread so I thought if anyone wanted to look at it, they wouldnt need to read all that spam

Like I said, I got no problem with what you did (or with the other stuff I just noticed was moved to the Dead Pile by others). I just don't want folks to feel like they can't engage in a little verbal jousting and frivolity without risking having their comments wiped out. A little spam is all in good fun, so just be careful not to pull the trigger too quickly.

But things like the "I voted!" stuff lem0n moved and the topic you moved into the Dead Pile are fine, Jord. Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Dáin

I wouldnt have named this thread "abuse of power" if I wasnt seeking to cause some controversy!

I don't think anyone has been abusing their power...

(after all, it's a CHARITY organization, I still have SOME principles, even having gone through Law School... :P),
Elf Lvr:
Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.

So, you're calling out volunteers or what? ;)
Nah, I think it's nice to "clean up" old threads, leaving out the unnecessary posts, as a way to actually encourage people to look at them every now and then, and even as a way to make them more... ressurrectable.
