New Moderator Suggestion

Elessar's Socks has been very helpful to this community thus far, be it creating images for us to use or suggestions for improving the forums or helping folks out in the gameplay forum. I was considering making him our third and final Global Moderator, or at least a moderator of the LOTR gameplay forum (Archives of Minas Tirith). I've been wanting to add a second mod for that particular forum anyway, since it sees a lot of activity.

What do you all think, my fellow adminstration and moderation fellows?

make him a mod of the gameplay forum and see how he does. and we do have too many mods...

I don't think we do. There are only two global moderators, and the rest have resposibility over just one or two forums for the most part. No one forum has more than 2 local mods, and most only have one. I think the more active forums (DCs, gameplay, and MAYBE the decks eventually) should have two locals in addition to the global mods.

Trust me, if my master's in IA, my work experience, and my time spent in several different forum communities over the years have taught me anything, it's that you can never have too many mods. :mrgreen: Without going overboard, of course.

I'd say that making him a mod would be good, but there are others before him in line for global mod.

ES is really good with gameplay questions, I dont think I have ever disagreed with anything he has said. If he wants it, give it to him!

Universal mod, methinks. Or Lord of the Rings Section mod, as well as AD. Any mods who join should be given the same role that they had on CC.

But we don't need to demote any mods either...
