The Hunters, Second Edition
« on: August 05, 2009, 04:48:40 pm »
Hey, I picked up a Hunters starter deck and the three rares were second edition. Was that the way all of the Hunters cards were produced? I also bought one pack and the rare was second edition. What gives?

Keep in mind, I am talking about the rares. Not the reprinted cards from other sets.

Yeah, I'm actually a little pissed off if I didn't get something I thought I was getting.

Actually, all the cards from the Hunters block set (Hunters, Rise Saruman and Treachery & Deceit) doesn't have a 1 in a white circle in the lower right corner of the card. To my knowledge there's no 2nd edition for those set, but because they don't have  1 in a white circle dosen't mean they aren't 1st edition. Same thing goes for the Age's End set and the Wraith collection I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's interesting. I had just compared the cards I had to the pictures in the database. Thanks for the information. Have a gold!

I seem to recall that there were major misprints and mispackaging of Hunters starter decks that caused Decipher to reprint a number. This could be the "2nd edition" you're speaking of.
