Mallorn Tree would be a bad idea because if your opponent gets to site 9, all you are going to draw is going to be elven cards.

Not really. From my point of view, if you play a swarm deck in FOTR block, the two best site for you to swarm your opponent are Anduin Wilderland (site 7) and Tol Brandir (site 9). It's almost impossible to kill your opponent before site 6 due to Hobbit Stealth.

Hate and Anger is officially one of my favorite cards.

[sarcasm]I am glad that nearly four months later this topic is relevant[/sarcasm]. Really though, the idea in Fellowship Block failed, but it is a fantastic card in Movie Block and underrated in Towers Block.

WHAT?! Not in Fellowship Block! Got to agree with c-work. Site 7 and 9 are where the real damage is done unless you get a lucky site 2 kill of a companion or two to stifle your opponent.

Hate and Anger is officially one of my favorite cards.  I use in combination with Strange Device and Goblin Scimitars in expanded.  There is something downright fun about being able to draw twelve to fourteen cards in a shadow phase.

Of course, using Hate and Anger is harder in fellowship because of the stingy twilight, but it's one of those cards that just begs to be used.  Glad to see somebody's giving it a whirl. :-)
Isn't the rule of 4 active in Expanded shadow draws too? O_o

And yes, hate and Anger is nice. Now someone make a News of Mordor deck. :D

How deliciously nasty. A lot of the Shadow in 11 and 12 from what I remember had muster and lotsa card draws. :)

Muster is great to get rid of excess cards you drew during Shadow phase though. :D

If you have more than 8 cards in your hand at reconcile, don't you have to discard down to 8 anyways? ;)

True....with muster you get to draw more cards though. More discards = more card draws, in some cases it would be awesome. :D
