Honestly, not very cool. You'd think that the fire would be foil-y and it would be mind-numbingly awesome. But in reality, everything else is foiled except for the fire. So...bummer.

But still, considering I first got the idea from Legolas3333's post on August 27th put into my head, to get four copies of a pretty popular card foiled seemed like an accomplishment to me. Especially since I have been trying to get four Hate (foil) and four Goblin Armory (foil) since Fellowship came out (I only have one Hate and two Goblin Armory still!)

Here's the original banter with me looking like an #$&*@! saying that L3333 should just give up on the idea because it isn't very realistic and then me taking the idea and running with it and actually liking it and then me eating my words and apologizing. Good read:

Perhaps loan would be a better term. I am just a card snob who likes his decks foiled. And that is intimidating to new players sometimes because they assume that a foil is somehow better than a non-foil (in game play, that is).

What would have been more accurate is that it is going to be the deck that I keep for when I introduce new players to the game. There is one particular person right now. But this deck will basically be used by people who aren't me would be an accurate way to put it.

Maybe the same person who created Galadriel, Lady Redeemed. Or on a stylistic note, created the templates and ideas for all of the new shadow cultures (sets 11+).

Four SftF foils wouldn't get any Gibson I'd ever want. But like my cards, I am a snob about my music equipment!
