Some help with the FotR League

Maintaining the League table is getting a bit strenuous given the number of people joining. Can I assign someone responsible to help by giving the mod powers in the board?

What do you want me to do? I'm running a mac and have never got GCCG to work for me (which is also why I have not been paying attention to it), but for anything on the forums I will hep in any way I can! ;)

The BBCode for the table needs constant updates with the stream of results. The site to work out the ratings is

If you have an innovative way to run the table, like a code that all we need to do is put in results and updates itself, would be amazing.

I'm afraid I'm really not that computer savvy to write a code. I can update the league tables no problem. Where do the results come in?

The code is fairly straightforward, modify my message in Valinor/FotR Block League/FotR Block League Standings and see how it works.

They are ranked by their rating.

Results come in at the same board topic:FotR Block League Results

If you think you can work I would appreciate the help

That's fine, my only issue is how are we going to do this without getting our wires crossed? What happens if I update the league while you're in the process of doing so etc.? And how do I know which ones you've already done and therefore which I should do?

Hmm... not really sure how to deal with that. We could use Who's Online to see what the other is doing... but as to which results have been added, all I can think is removing the post when its been added to the table?

If I have time, perhaps I can figure out some amazing code to make this happen. The site gives enough information on the formulas... the trick would be implementing them. Most likely it would have to be on a page outside of the forums, in order to allow the scripting.

I think that during the Christmas break I might have time to write an outside program to do a quick edit-and-update of the league results. :)
