yeah, looks pretty broken to me. I want one :) I don't see why you have a spurred to battle, especially since just 1, coordinated effort would be better. I'd try and fit in a chamber patrol, have some overkill :)

So it has a 100% win rate? That's how broken it is right? :P

I remember in a game once, I had every single orc in the deck all on the table at the same time with a mountain troll and King89 killed all of them all with Denethor, Last Ruling Steward, Aragorn's Bow, Ranger's Longbow and Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien. I swarmed at site eight and site nine, but with all the exerts on my orcs from toil and adding twilight they were just fodder. The deck can definately be defeated.

I suggest cutting some cards out to add in Gollum for threats, this will choke off Aragorn's Bow, Ranger's Longbow.

As a swarm it is an excellent deck, but Standard swarms are hard to pull of.

Removed 1x Spurred to Battle. (Even though that [1] made all the difference sometimes) and added 1x Chamber Patrol. Great idea!

Removed 1x Forced March and added 1x Black Land Chieftain. Threats are a good idea, although I think five cards (1x Gollum, 4x CBTR) is a maybe too many..

Added a fellowship to go with the shadow.

A very strong fellowship, Aragorn gets to twenty-one strength and Elendil gets to sixteen. Tonight on gccg I used it with a different shadow and managed to survive with Isildur at site nine against GATS rapid reload elevated fire archery.

No heals at site three due to steward's tomb (which I played), and then also double moved through my heals at site six. No sanctuary heals all game, in fact the only heals all game were from multiple copies of Aragorn and much needed Mithlond (Ranger of Westernesse).

Steward's tomb was played on me again at site eight preventing Boromir from healing anyone, by the end of site nine everyone was dead except for an exhausted Aragorn and an exhausted Isildur with ten burdens.

One of the most epic games I have ever played. Please let me know what you think of the deck.

An exhausted GATS and The Mouth of Sauron were in play when I chose to double move from site eight to nine. In play were two copies of The Faithful Stone with a bunch of tokens, an exhausted Aragorn, an exhausted Elendil and an exhausted Isildur with seven burdens and eleven resistance plus a bunch of other gondor token cards and some artifacts including The Scroll of Isildur. Site nine was Doorway To Doom which killed Elendil and added another burden, making eight burdens total.

All that was played at site nine was a Voice of The Desert making all three minions fierce. After all the tokens and twilight were removed using TFS, only GATS was prevented from being assigned. Isildur added two burdens to fight, going to ten burdens total and used Noble Leaders to kill the Mouth of Sauron and Aragorn killed the Voice. If Isildur had to fight a fierce skirmish I loose.

I think with no sanctuary heals, double moving from site five -> seven and again from site seven -> nine against Evil men archery was well done, the faithful stone did indeed save me though..

I also had a friend make a deck with Faithful Stone in it, it ended up being he coulda used it to prevent tons of skirmishes at site 9. It really can save people. Shadows need to pack lotsa condition removal in case OP things like that show up. :O

Fellowship does indeed look quite strong, having Eager Hunter to start is smart. I'd be able to make the deck IRL if I had 2 more Faithful Stone and Anduril, Sword That was Broken, but no one has that sword for a reasonable price anymore. Most "reasonable" price I saw was $30. I'd rather print out a copy of the card and glue it to thin cardboard than buy it for that much. T_T

Yes, Rise of Saruman cards are ridiculously priced. I would not pay more than $20.00 for any card these days, although I have in the past. (Except for 15RF1 If anyone wants to sell me one of those  :hey:).

I mainly have Gimli just so Dark Horseman doesn't cause to much trouble. I always try to include two races.

Thinking back on this, it was a bad move killing Elendil before Aragorn, as Elendil would have also been strong enough to beat The Voice of The Desert. All killing Elendil instead of Aragorn accomplished was lowering Isildur's resistance by one. :P So he would have had twelve resistance with Elendil alive making it easier to survive.

Knights and Wargs... 2 of my most favorite themes ever.

Shame hunters block had so much wrong with it, it also had some of the best knight stuff (that wasn't OP).

I think some skirmish events that reinforce tokens would be nice for this deck too. Deck solid as is, though I'd still be afraid of Shadow cards removing conditions (like Tempest of War) were I playing this deck.

to make this shadow broken you need 2 more cards: the balrog, demon of might and cavern entrance.
otherwise some random king89 shoots you.
