..................WHAT?!
YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IS "XRUMER"?!

It is the most known software for MASS-POSTING! (Did you read about XRumer in Wikipedia, hm? )
It's automatically post to blogs, forums, guestbooks, bbs's, etc. - automatically BREAK CAPTCHA's, ACTIVATE EMAIL LINKS, EDIT PROFILES, and more, and more.
I already said - just Google for it.

GRRR....

EDIT:

EDIT2: Trying a different CAPTCHA now... here's hoping.

[Kralik]

Well, I spent a while adding a clock CAPTCHA and programming in a dead simple question. I'm hoping between the two of them it will slow things down... seems like we are getting a handful of spammers a week now...

[Kralik]

I am happy to say that my little registration question ("Who created LotR TCG?") has stopped the stream of spammers. This is one that bots won't be able to answer but real people will (just try the front page of this site!). Now instead of getting registrations like PeterJohnson ("Hi, I'm new here! I hope I posted this in the right place. Oh, and check this link!") we are getting new members like "Darth Burrito."

I doubt Darth Burrito is a common bot name.

Let's hope it lasts! Maybe I can add another simple question if needed:
"Who carried the One Ring to throw it into the cracks of Mount Doom?"

On April 1st I'll be cleaning up the members list and I expect that we will drop down to around 200 members instead of 400+.

Yay! Well done Mr Kralik.

I'm glad I'm already registered as I simply don't know the answer and would be uncovered as the bot I really am!
