User Brian is now banned as well. If anyone is seriously concerned, I can extract the relevant log files and you may see them via PM. They are not pretty.

Brian was asking why he was banned. I am sure you have legitimate reasons but declaring his sentence and why seems to be the proper way.

He knows why he is banned of course... But still i think we have to officially declare him too. An email might be enough i think.

On another note the only player i've ever had a problem is Saulo. He is always complaining. I've explained him on one rule clarification about wulf and he just decided to quit. I wanted to take the high road and told him we can finish the game the way he is playing but told him that he needs to know the official rule and in the future games cannot play the card like that... He well he seemed displeased and said something in portugese i think...

Not a big problem or nothing to ban someone about but i've seen some complaints about him and decided to give my experience with him.

Sure. After the issue with Cdub/JonLbs, Brian logged in and proceeded to abuse and swear profusely at one of the users who noticed problems with Cdub and JonLbs. The incident was reported and, as I said, the logs are not pretty. If you feel that you need to see them (more than just curiousity) I can extract them and PM them, but they are not fit to be posted. I seriously doubt that Brian doesn't know 'why.'

I've posted the logs for mods to review. Lurtzy, since you don't play on GCCG I don't consider you one of the people who needs to see the details.

I have reviewed the logs and it looks like a sad troll. Internet anonymity makes people jerks.

Yeah, i have also reviewed the logs. Just your average loser. "Boo hoo, they cut my exploit", basically. I, for one, think the rules for GCCG are pretty clear, and they DO include "DO NOT CHEAT" in between them, since it takes the fun off the system, and it IS a "private" system anyway (in that, it is maintained and developed without direct money contribution from the users), so they owners and caretakes are free to decide who they want and who they DON'T want using it. I think any banned person who might have a legitimate complaint about the banning will take it up with the Admins in a civilized way, and that such complaints WILL be taken into consideration, so if a mistake is made, the account will then be restored. Other than this, banned people KNOW why they have been banned, and as for one, I like the "you're banned, deal with it" approach better, I don't think Admins should waste time writing lenghtful explanations to people like Brian, that'll simply lash out and do what he did. A simple "You have been banned for not following the rules associated with the use of GCCG" as they TRY to login is more than enough and probably than these people deserve anyway, if it was me, the program would simply never connect again, no explanation given. Let them ASK why...
Well, problem solved anyway, kudos, Kralik, you are way more patient than me. :D

The ban has been lifted on Cdub's account. However, the collection/$ owned has been zapped down to square one. Brian and JonLbs still remain banned.

He PM'ed me about the incident and told his side of the story. Turns out he wasn't involved with the rash of complaints over language--just with the cheating. Usually the penalty for first-time cheaters is simply the removal (resetting) of accounts. He assured me after the first time that he wouldn't use the offensive language again--and he hasn't.

Well I wish now I hadn't deleted the PM he sent me.  Maybe that would change your mind about the language part.  You should see if you can dig it out and take a look at it.

He is referring to a nasty PM that he received from Cdub after Cdub was banned. I haven't seen it. The PM I received was quite civil.
