Mr Lurtzy
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:26:08 pm »
Looking into the last Incognito game, the IP address belonged to Lurtzy and several fringe members. All these fringe members have sbcglobal.net email addresses. L is the one I most believe to be an alternate Lurtzy account, as The Seventh Shilling has traded with him (some Schroedinger issues there otherwise) and niqiri hasn't posted in a long time.

Probably doesn't even matter, but his comment on the Incog thread reminded me that I was suspicious back then.

I don't know...I'm not sure if it's a huge deal if he has an alternate account.  I wouldn't want to risk ticking off someone, who for all his faults, is a regular participator in the forums.  Unless he's using it to up his gold totals than smite him with the unholy sword of ridiculousness.

Yeah, I remember seeing all those names strung out.

While I think discouraging multiple accounts would cut down on trouble, I'd still generally let it slide (benefit of doubt and all that) unless it's also linked to spam, getting around moderation, GP padding, etc.
