Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Signet: Aragorn
Damage +1At the start of the regroup phase, you may exert Gimli to play a tale from your discard pile.
While I don't want to get involved, this seems like it is happening so I will at least throw my two cents in. My rationale is that this card isn't intrinsically good enough to make Gimli a mainstay in
Gondor Bowmen decks, but it might give a little boost to some of the tale strategies.
I like the idea of being able to play tales from the discard pile as it is relatively untouched territory in Fellowship block and sticks with the

theme of digging for what you need.
I picked the regroup phase because I am not too fond of the idea of this happening in fellowship (
The Council of Elrond) or maneuver (
Gondor Bowmen when you need it) but I don't mind the exert post-skirmishes as much. And I picked the start of the phase because I wouldn't want a full reload of
Gondor Bowmen or those pesky
The Last Alliance of Elves and Men.
Of course, don't forget about the potential card-drawing machine with
Red Book of Westmarch.
