Hmm...some pretty cool mechanics in here! I like Dinendal quite a bit--good swarm killer. But Elves are already pretty good swarm killers with all of the bows. Here are three quick issues:
1. You don't specify which archery total goes down by 2 (Fellowship, I presume)
2. Can you subtract an archery total below 0? As we learned with cards like
Uruk-Hai Armory, if the archery total was made to be less than 0, you just applied as if it was "0." So if my archery total is 0, exerting Dinendal seems like a pretty good way to get rid of a minion. With
the Tale of Gil-Galad and
Aiglos, Dinendal can single-handedly kill swarm decks, especially with Elven healing.
3. Dinedal's second text doesn't have a phase. Archery, I presume.
Thingol--just what we need. Another kick-#$&*@! Elven companion. He seems like he'd be a bit overpowered in archery decks. But mechanically, he has no problems.
Thingol's Cloak--maybe make it "Bearer Must be an Elf". And then do the Skirmish text: "If Bearer is Thingol, ..." That way people can use it for the resistance bonus. And I think 2 is a fair twilight cost for that card.
Drop the Hunter 1 from
Legolas' Bow and you have a pretty solid card there.
I like where you are going with these. Do you have any for other races? I am tired of seeing Elves get more and more powerful.
