well I don't know about you guys, but Lem0n and I have been talking and he is really ticking me off. Whenever you post something saying he is spammer (even in a non members lounge board) he just says your one to talk, even though every time I include a few sentences of worthwhile stuff in the post.

I don't know what should be done about this, but I needed to express my frustration. :cpunch:

Yeah how the heck did u get those annoying stars? And thats not his old count Thran lol he had 7k roughly not 50k!!! Hacker!

Yes i will agree the guy irks me. He shouldnt it just a forum, but he is a true spammer. As in the type that are gaining posts unashamedely by doing nothing worthwhile, his reviews are useless and his comments are annoying. He is the type modertaors on forums usually slap a ban on or warn a few times before blacklisting.

I'm just having some fun. As for MR. Lurtzy, he is annoying but mostly harmless. If it's not already here, I think there's a way to install an ignore mod. That way, if his posts bug you, you could ignore them completely (i.e. they wouldn't even show).

Wouldn't that compromise some discussions, in case he ACTUALLY posts something useful? I think an "ignore" function would work better for PMs, mostly.

as for the stars, I don't mind, but I just want my CC post count, plus the actual number I have here...though this might make lurtzy despair and stop spamming ;)

Regardless, he's just having fun. Fine, most of his posts are pointless - so don't read them. It's really not something to get worked up about, especially as with only 40 members of this forum, we're certainly in no position to ban anyone over being a little annoying.

As far as I'm concerned, the only way to curb spamming behavior is to install a '25-character minimum' rule to every post on the forum. After that, I myself would refrain from rebuking or punishing him. After all, he is giving life to the community and - even if his posts are what you consider 'meaningless' - at least he isn't flaming or posting pictures of... gross things.
