Thought of another one. Maybe I've just been misreading things, but I thought the action procedure was confusing regarding how it steps through successive triggers:
After all such required actions have resolved, players may perform optional actions responding to that same trigger using the action procedure.
As the Free Peoples player, you get the first opportunity to perform an action...
So I'm looking at "that same trigger" and thinking that with each
new trigger, the Free Peoples player gets the first opportunity to respond. In other words, each new trigger creates a nested action procedure. It'd look like this:
Trigger 1
FP responds to Trigger 1 (creating Trigger 2) FP responds to Trigger 2 S responds to Trigger 2 S responds to Trigger 1Instead it seems that the action procedure continues from the previous trigger. In other words, each new trigger is contained within
one action procedure. It'd look like this:
Trigger 1
FP responds to Trigger 1 (creating Trigger 2) S responds to Trigger 2 FP responds to Trigger 2 S responds to Trigger 1So I haven't quite figured out how to word this, but maybe something like:
After all such required actions have resolved, players may perform optional actions responding to that same trigger in an order that continues the action procedure from before. This really takes off in multi-player. As I understand it, it'd look like this:
Trigger 1
FP responds to Trigger 1 (creating Trigger 2) S1 responds to Trigger 2 (creating Trigger 3) S2 responds to Trigger 3 <-- not FP!
FP responds to Trigger 3 S1 responds to Trigger 3 S2 responds to Trigger 2 FP responds to Trigger 2 S1 responds to Trigger 1 S2 responds to Trigger 1The above might look confusing, but basically each new line continues the FP -> S1 -> S2 cycle.
Yes/no?
