Visual Warning Mod
« on: December 11, 2010, 10:14:11 am »
I installed a mod that should allow for easier warning management. I believe the settings SHOULD be accessible to both mods and admin, but you all will have to check for me. Do you mods see a "Warn" button next to the normal post editing options?

Also, as a heads up, I had to edit a bunch of stuff manually to make this work. If you see any funny bugs--broken links, error messages, etc.--let me know ASAP.

Alrighty, seems to work only for admins for now. I will have to tinker with it if we need to do more later. TJ, are you fairly active?

Levels of warnings are displayed next to each username.
1: Warned (can select expiration date)
2: Moderated (all posts must be approved - defaults to 5 days)
3: Muted (no posting - defaults to 7 days)
4: Banned

Also, when you flag a post, it puts a little note in it that shows the user was warned and sends them a PM as to why.

Right, seems to be working! You can manage the warnings and approve posts by going to the "Admin" menu. Remember to let me know if anything seems awry. I've tested as much as possible with different themes and as a moderator/normal user.
